The innovative WeighMaster project, a modular coffee scale developed by Mantabrew, has recently kick-started its campaign on Kickstarter. For those of you who follow me on Discord or regularly read my blog, you’ll know that I have a special interest in this project. I’m closely tracking its progress because I believe this scale is a truly intriguing accessory for coffee enthusiasts.

Ever since the launch of its Kickstarter campaign, a wealth of additional information and several videos have been made available. These fresh resources provide a deeper insight into how the WeighMaster scale could potentially transform our coffee experience.
The balance is composed of three main elements:
- La balance
- Le module A
- Le module B
Vous avez la possibilité d’opter pour la balance accompagnée de deux modules (A et B), ou bien d’un seul module (A ou B). Et voici une excellente nouvelle pour vous : le module B, qui offre une gamme de fonctionnalités plus complète, peut être acquis séparément, sans avoir besoin d’acheter au préalable le module A.

What makes the WeighMaster scale particularly appealing is its intuitive user interface, which stands out from many other scales available on the market. For instance, unlike my current scale, which requires a series of button presses to switch modes – a process that can often be tedious and confusing – the WeighMaster promises a streamlined navigation and usage experience. Additionally, the modularity of the scale, while it may seem like a gadget, is an interesting feature. However, I don’t foresee myself using this feature very often.
I’m personally excited and ready to back this project on Kickstarter. I acknowledge that the price tag might cause some hesitation. However, I remain optimistic about the added value the WeighMaster will bring to my coffee preparation routine.
