Allow me to present something a bit different for this blog. I’m excited to introduce you to the video game “Coffee Talk”, an intriguing visual novel crafted by the talented Indonesian independent studio, Toge Productions. This unique gem was a delightful find on Microsoft’s GamePass.

Immerse yourself in the world of “Coffee Talk”, a captivating game set in the heart of Seattle, Washington. You’ll step into the shoes of a barista, who is not only the owner but also the sole employee of the charming “Coffee Talk” café. This interactive experience invites you to lend an ear to your customers, absorbing their stories and concerns. Your role extends beyond just serving coffee; you’re encouraged to help your patrons by crafting warm, comforting beverages from the ingredients at your disposal. “Coffee Talk” provides a deeply engaging dive into lives that are as human as they come, with characters that are far more complex and intriguing than your average human.

While the game may be relatively brief, it’s more apt to view it as a captivating narrative that gently sweeps you along, buoyed by its tranquil music and serene dialogue. I found myself particularly moved by certain characters, their situations pulling me in. This game provided a serene oasis, evoking the feeling of being cozily tucked under a comforter, a gentle piano melody playing softly in the background, all while engrossed in a good book.

Should you be in search of a serene and immersive experience, I wholeheartedly endorse this game. However, if your heart yearns for thrilling adventures, intricate game mechanics, or intellectual stimulation, this might not be your cup of tea. It’s akin to a narrative, a delightful tale to be leisurely enjoyed and appreciated.

I sometimes listen to the game’s soundtrack while making coffee with my Lelit.
